Revised Training Pages including eLearning Courses and Training Materials
We are pleased to announce that the Training Pages link and its related items have been completely revised on the DMC Portal (Site Support > Training Pages) located on www.fstrf.org. The Overview page contains a detailed listing of all types of training offered by the DMC. From this page, you may access Announcements, eLearning Courses, Training Materials, and Meet the Trainers.
As part of the revision, sites will now be able to access our new eLearning Courses and Training Materials. The eLearning courses are interactive, computer-based classes that allow site staff to learn material at their own pace. The two courses available now are Subject Enrollment and Portal Registration. The courses include many examples, video segments, course summaries, a final knowledge assessment, and personalized certificate upon successful completion of certain courses. The DMC now provides Training Materials for sites to use when training new personnel or to provide refresher training. There are currently seven presentations, many of which have follow-up activities such as games, quizzes, and exercises. Presentations include Who Are We? An Introduction to the DMC, Central Database Structure, General Forms Overview, Clinical and Administrative Forms, DAIDS Toxicity Table, QA/QC Tips, and CRF Errors and How to Avoid Them.
The DMC is always looking for suggestions on how to improve our training programs. If you have ideas for new trainings, or questions or comments on these training pages, please contact Laura Smith at smith.laura@fstrf.org or call 716-834-0900 ext. 7351.
