Overview and Role:  The IMPAACT CAB (ICAB) includes representatives from the Asia, Africa, and Americas Regional Community Advisory Boards (RCABs).  The ICAB is the entity that serves at the network and cross network levels to represent community on Executive, Science and Resource Committees, protocol teams and cross network community activities.  It functions to assist site CABS and RCABs with capacity building, training, and development.  The role of the ICAB is to provide HIV/AIDS life-experience based expertise that will positively impact the formulation and implementation of research by community representation at the network and cross-network levels.
